Jesse Boykins III – Itis (Video)
If you sleep on Jesse Boykins III same one you, not only is JB3 a good friend of mine but dude is one hell of an artist. The Beauty Created is one of the best CD’s you have to own. One of my favorite songs off that CD is entitled “Itis”. After a conversation with JB3 I find out the song is about weed (who knew LOL) truth be told I thought it was about the love you have for a lady, whatever the meaning is enjoy.

It’s a Wonderful Life, No It Really Is
I think all the world has seen “It’s a Wonderful Life” if you haven’t here is the plot. On Christmas Eve 1946, George Bailey (James Stewart) is deeply depressed, even suicidal. Prayers for George are heard by the angels. Clarence George’s angel is sent to help George in his hour of need.
This is the only Christmas movie I will make sure im home to watch, I think can identify with George Bailey. We want life journeys, adventurous journeys that tell interesting stories, feeling alive at that moment in time. But something gets lost in the sauce and we don’t embark on the journeys for reason that vary so your left questing the decision you made. Its easy to get caught up in the mind fuck we put ourselves in, at the end of the day all you need is family, love, relationships, and a place you can call home. George’s comes to terms with his sacrifices the giving and sharing were the right.
My favorite scene in “It’s a Wonderful Life” is 5 seconds in length from 2:47 to 2:51. Its where Stewart kisses the newel cap on the banister. It was a running gag thru out the film that the newel cap was always falling off. But after his encounter with Clarence George realizes that its the little things in life that are so important and you need not to sweat the small stuff and just enjoy the gift we are given in life.
The director of “It’s a Wonderful Life” Frank Capra said that he wanted the movie to give one clear message: that no man is a failure, and that every person’s life counts….. Thats a nice thought around this time of year when we try and reflect on what are our achievements and failures of the year. Buon Natale….
