Stone Cold Steve Austin wins the Royal Rumble 1998!!!!!

This was when ALL not just wrestling fans but everyone drank the Stone Cold Steve Austin kool-aide. The set up weeks prior was done will.

This Rumble really changed the shape of the company. This was the night of HBK’s back injury against Undertaker in a casket match, that cost him 4 years of his career after his match at Wrestlemania 14. Rock & Austin really started to make there mark as the go to guys.

Where My Killer Tape At?

I’ve been reppin’ Staten Island for 8 years now, so naturally, I rep Wu-Tang pretty hard. This shirt is ridiculous. If you don’t get the reference, you need to listen to 36 Chambers or just watch this clip.

You can purchase the shirt at Rewind Effect.

nWo Paid Announcement – “nWo 4-Life”

The NWO shook WWF, when WCW started going with this storyline it was so fresh. It was something never done before, I always dug these promos here is one of the early NWO promos. These promos still hold up IMO.

WHAT ?

The WHAT ? promos might have been the most simple stupid catchphrase, you gotta love it. The word WHAT ? being used in this promo is classic. Austin had a way of just putting the crowd in his pocket. This classic clip shows this. WWF is missed.
