The Chicago based ensemble made a cover track to the classic Outkast jam off of Aquemini. This is virtually impressive. For one, it sounds damn good. Second, its a classic song off a classic southern rap album. Last, it just reaffirms Outkast’s importance to music.
Rilgood gives us some poetry over this beautiful Lonnie Liston Smith sample. It won’t be on his upcoming mixtape, just a little piece for the fans. Rilgood’s JFK Mixtape drops on Presidents Day, February 20, 2012.
I’m liking this kid Ariez Onasis and Kevin Cossom on the hook is the perfect addition.Below is the latest joint from Unsigned Hype artist Ariez Onasis featuring Kevin Cossum, “Loving Me Now.” The track is produced by J. Cardim. The Heartbreak Kid should be here sooner rather than later!
Nore is coming with a mixtape called Crack On Steroids. I don’t know how dope it will be. I do know that this wrong right here isn’t bad. It isn’t bad at all. Even Action sounds good over the production. Peep it for yourself.
Okay, so is this song going to be the entire song or is this a teaser? Knowing Frank Ocean, it may be the the former. I would be completely surprised if it is the latter. Regardless, this is another nice song in a catalog that is turning into great stuff.
This is what happen when live jam sessions go right. Badbadnotgood allows Tyler to go wild over a live version of “Lemonade” (Gucci Mane) for his freestyle rendition of “Orange Juice”. You know, their mixtape cut before they blew up? Okay, had to make sure we were all on the same page. Only problem is that Earl Sweatshirt wasn’t around to have fun over it.
Damn. I hope Earl finds a way to get back with his crew.
Erk Tha Jerk hasn’t stopped yet. He is still making that music for the ears of whomever wants to hear it. He is really atypical to the Bay Area scene. Really, he comes off has “confusing”. No matter what, though: the music is hot.
My homie sent me this video the other day and you can’t avoid smiling when watching. I mean look at all the animals! I’m a fan of Vic Spencer and after hearing Chance on this track, I’m a fan of his as well. Check it out above. National Geographical was filmed at the Brookfield Zoo and all extra animal footage was filmed by MRM at the San Diego zoo. This track can be found on Vic Spencer’s mixtape Vic Greenthumbs which released back in late September.
Midwest artist Al Koleon (@KushWorldKoley) comes with a new song from a new project to be coming very soon. Straight off of a bid, he comes right out and puts a video up for the masses. He’s feeling the energy of “being free” again. One can’t hate that.
