Up top my love Miss Pea$ from 2DBZ interviews the man of the year Kendrick Lamar. They discuss his experience working in the studio with West Coast legend, MC Eiht, which CA artists he hopes to unite with, and hints at a possible collaboration with another West Coast legend, DJ Quik. He also makes his case for the importance of purchasing albums.
“That world has to actually buy albums. Underground has to buy albums. Underground is so critical but at the same time, these people need to look in the mirrors, people who consider… who like the content and lyrics, need to look in the mirror and say ‘Do I buy albums?’ Underground don’t let it fall. Don’t let it die.” – Kendrick Lamar

The Inner City Kids return, only this time arrive with their resident wild-man, aka the intergalactic spitter himself, Spaceman. He makes his debut through “Gonzo,” the Ricky Shabazz directed audio/visual showing you the inner-workings of a crew who don’t follow no rules. The song is a great display of his persona, and after listening to a couple bars from Spaceman, you can’t help but notice a little hybrid of Ol’ Dirty Bastard and Black Flag. The single can be found on his recent project “Over It” which can be download here!

Check it out above, the song and video is actually one of my favorites Sid has ever released. Let us know your thoughts!
