Bape x Star Wars = winning

For all Star Wars and Bape fans out there, get your money ready: They are joining forces. I don’t know who will be more exciting: the fashionably conscious or the bootleggers ready to take advantage. Whichever comes first, this will be genius in marketing if this is taken full advantage of. Seriously. All they need is some dedicated fans to clamor over this (along with a few celebrities) and this will sell like hotcakes in a third world country.

A Krampus Carol by Anthony Bourdain

Anthony Bourdain’s television shows are entertaining his books where a great read so its only right he gives us his take on a myth associated with the holiday.

Google image search Krampus you will shit your pants. I think using the Krampus to discipline your children around Christmas is way more effective than, saying “Santa is gonna bring you cole”.

Did you notice the picture of Pope Benedict XVI in a cowboy hat and Bourdain’s face in the moon?

Mike Epps – You Outta Here!

These cartoon revision workings of comedy skits are hilarious. First, there was the Katt Williams version. Now this Mike Epps version is funny, too. Why? Its the quirks of the characterization and how they make the words come to life. You gotta love it.

New Beavis and Butthead Sneak Preview. Anyone else excited?

My love for this cartoon knowns no leaps nor bounds. When I first got cable at the ripe old age of 12, I was introduced to the wonder that was MTV. This was when MTV still played music videos & had VJ’s like Idalis, Kennedy and Ananda Lewis. MTV had a good run in my room and household. The early Real World & Road Rules shows were entertaining as fuck. Who else watched Singled out just to stare at Jenny McCarthy?

I will always hold MTV near and dear because it was MTV that gave me Beavis & Butthead, two really stupid yet witty characters who made no sense but held my attention. My father couldn’t understand and he still doesn’t understand my love for this cartoon. It was Beavis & Butthead that made me realize you can use characters for satirical a purpose. I figured this out at 12 genius I know. Think back to how media was back then.

Who else thought the part with the Jersey Shore was fucking brilliant? I laughed so hard my mother walked in the room & said “O bevis & Butthead huh, aren’t you past this”…… I gave her a look and said cartoons are geared towards adults.

Did you know “Uncle Phil” was the voice of The Shredder on the TMNT’s Cartoon.

I recently learned from reading DAPS, America’s TV uncle, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’s Uncle Phil (aka James Avery), was also the voice of the evil Shredder on the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.

The video below is taken from an interview, Where Uncle Phil talks about voicing The Shredder character.

Unrelated observation that has nothing to do with Uncle Phil voicing The Shredder. I questioned why there was a grenade thrown at Michaelangelo (watch this video at 2:33) but theres no explosion ? Anyone else find that odd?

X-Men & Nintendo Character Mash Up

X-Men and classic Nintendo characters really need to be some sort of one off video game. I dont even play video games but this art work looks so good that I would. Even Luigi looks cool & no video game player gives two flying fucks about Luigi.

Second ThunderCats trailer arrives & it Kicks Major ass

I had my doubts judging by the picture I saw a few weeks ago. But we all know better than to think Television is so entrusting.

The final judgement will come when viewing the series. I wasn’t a fan of the other cartoon remakes, transformers or He-man. But if the trailer is any indication of how much potential the new series will have, than raping of our 80′s childhood cartoons could be forgiven.

Also the good folks over @ DAPS.TV compared Cheetara boob size from the 80s cartoon to the remake.
