Contrary to popular belief my favorite movie ever is Casablanca. Casablanca is classic, if you never saw Casablanca ex this out and netflix like now. The plot is simple, Bogart is reunited with a newly married long lost love, Ingrid Bergman….I wont go further you need to watch Casablanca like now.
So The Rock has been tweeting about G.I. Joe: Retaliation, he’s starring in. I never saw the first one, you couldn’t sell me on Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobra Commander. Should I even watch G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra or just forget it existed and walk into the sequel fresh?
Does G.I. Joe: Retaliation delve into the foreseeable future if Ron Paul win’s the Presidency of the United States?
At first I thought to my self WTF is this shit, this has to be something that Funny or Die would do. But it stars Danny Trejo and has explosions and very limited dialogue. So it leads me to believe its real. All its missing is John Cena and the direct to DVD tag.
Is this where were going to make a quick buck in the entertainment world? Only in Hollywood can Epic Beard Man, who became a youtube celebrity from getting into a fight on an Bus in California. Get sell the rights and collect a paycheck.
Shit I should film my self as a bottle collecting twenty something who becomes a vigilante aka just hanging and speaking nonsensical. If anyone can make the fanny pack masculine again it is Danny Trejo.
If your testosterone level did not just increase a thousand times to the point you want to fight an entire bouncing staff at a bar than man the fuck up and re-watch The Expendables. You can borrow my director’s extended cut.
The sequel features Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme…The trailer starts with Bruce Willis reprising his role as the mysterious “Mr. Church”. Willis was in the first move for 5 whole minutes. Yeah I’m already sold.
Like I said before, this is the perfect music for telling the story. Therefore, this is the short film that accompanies this album. It has been out for a while, but people have just caught wind of the full time movie. Please watch, and listen to the soundtrack, of a film dealing with a young man that made all the wrong choices.
Wait, so they actually collaborated for the first time….for a soundtrack? Especially for the soundtrack for The Sitter? Wow. The things that occur because people are actually taking the time to make it all happen. He even shouts out Jonah Hill twice. This is nice.
This video is as weird as it could ever be. Set in a futuristic planet (Ethio X or something like that in 16311), there are situations of love, lust, death, and hurt. Yeah, like I said….weird. But damn if the visuals aren’t captivating. Shot in 2D Jankyvision. See for yourself.
Gotta promote that album, people. Wale comes with the video for this premiere single getting plenty of air play. People can at least respect that the video matches the song. Keep making it happen, Wale.
Dead End Hip Hop (the big homies) got to reach out to Kareem Fort about his recent documentary called Demos. It is a how-to guide for up and coming independent artists that are trying to make things happen in the musical world. He basically waxes poetic about realizing the reasons you want to be in the industry, meeting DJ Quik, chillin’ with Terrace Martin, and the wisdom that helped made this documentary happen. I guess I need to take the time out and see what this documentary is all about. There are plenty of featured artists that I am a fan of.
Video from Lonnie Breaux Franklin Ocean. First, it was the visuals for Thinking About You that Devi posted up. Now this? Yeah. And the visuals get even weirder…..
