As Planet Asia returns from his trip to Africa, we thought it fitting to release the track “Thyself.” Since knowledge and wisdom produces understanding, Gensu Dean brought in some heavyweight friends, David Banner & Tragedy Khadafi, to drop jewels on listeners. Let Dean’s mystic production draw you into the zone, so that you can acknowledge the Gods speech and know Thyself.
Whatever is clever. He sounds very…I don’t know, run of the mill. I like him but I want him to do more. This WILL be a hit amongst the OVOXO lovers out there. Trust.
Brooklyn MC Troy Ave drops some new heat off his upcoming “BSB Volume 2″ tape featuring Smoke DZA and Young Lito. Ode to the bad bitches nationwide. Let us know what you think in the comment section!
Prodigy bars, Alchemist production. Mad familiar. This cut comes off their collaboration album “Albert Einstein” dropping June 11th. Click and comment!
Well, this is a pleasant surprise. And to think that is is from the EP that has gotten much world wide web slander as of late. Maybe people expected more (they shouldn’t have). Maybe they were expecting to be just as good as their previous work (sometimes, it don’t happen). However, this remix makes me ENJOY what that EP had to offer. Then again, the EP wasn’t THAT bad, considering….
Yeah, man. Durag Dynasty. That Kunta Fly Shit. I need to listen to it. However, I been bumping this Rittz all damn day (irrelevantly enough). Still, I can agree with this review simply from what I HAVE listened to off this album. Peep it out!
Rob Regis, the big homie representing Florida (not Flo-Rida, you pricks) just gave me the go=ahead to release this single. He also wanted you all to know that he has a Rap Genius link for the lyrics. I can’t hate on this. This is pretty dope.
From Marco Polo himself:
The Newport Authority 2 album was inspired by politics & industry bullsh*t that prevented this material from being included on PA2: The Director’s Cut. Shylow and I went in and created a separate album to hold people over until PA2 drops in July. Attached with Intro, interludes and fully mixed & mastered by Joe Nardone. With confidence I can say this is not a mix tape. It will also be available on vinyl LP via Fat Beats for the heads that appreciate physical product, because I still do. I’ve included songs I recorded with legends such as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Tragedy Khadafi, Lil Fame and The Artifacts. But, I’ve also got joints on here with some talented up and comers such as First Division, MidaZ and Big Gutta. Plus the sh*t is free – so enjoy!
