Wzrd – Teleport to Me, Jamie (video)

I don’t care what people say about this guy Kid Cudi: I am a fan. I have all of his albums and I support his movement. This video is no different. I love what he brings to the table. He isn’t the best rhymer or singer. But I enjoy what he does because of his raw emotion and temperment. Sue me. Then teleport to me like your name is Jamie (unless you aren’t a chick).

AAron Alexander – Thexperience EP

You would expect the son of LA Reid to stick to the winning family formula, but that wasn’t what rockstarREID had in mind. The Experience EP has a great balance of an R&B vocalist and rock infused melody. Aaron has a vocal styling a similar to Lenny Kravits. I really like the two tracks featuring Rich Hil, theres a great back in fourth in different vocal stylings.

Shinobi Ninja – ILL ISH (Video)

Shinobi Ninja’s newest album is still in production, but ILL ISH was some fun stuff they did while in the recording processs. This video was filmed on an iphone on a 12 dollar green screen made from poster board bought from a 99 cent store. 12 pieces taped together. Edited and filmed by the band.

Happy Birthday, Prince!

Happy birthday to the man that has spawned many a hit, parody, and much musical revolution. Without him, we would not have people changing their names, bucking the system, or being original despite the funny looks. Also, there is Apollonia. Oh, and Vanity. That damn Prince, I tell ya.

Kidd Russell – Are We Having Fun Yet (Video)

Directed by David Turvey

Kidd Russell releases his second single off his new EP being released by Bananabeat.com. This new song/video “are we having fun yet?” features Cisco Adler on the hook.

Kitten Berry Crunch – Dead Kitten Dance Party (Video)

Directed by Brett Herman

I was on the train going to work today and I ran into my buddy Harry, we shot the shit for a few stops and he was telling me about the band he is in called Kitten Berry Crunch

Kitten Berry Crunch has that 80’s-loving synth-pop band their “Dreams EP” is slated iTunes on April 17th.

R3venge Of the Nerds – N.W.A.

To be frank, the acronym does stand for what it should stand for. N.W.A. is the practical mindset of this song. The production may not say so. Yet, the soft reminiscing that is present is also harsh and real. Sometimes honesty can be both smooth and coarse at the same time.

DJ Eclipse & Danny Boy’s Saint Patrick’s Day Mix 2012

I know There like a few hours left for St. Patty’s Day, I ate corned beef for the second time in my entire life with something called Irish Mush, wasn’t half bad.

Tonight some bars will keep with an ALL IRISH EVERYTHING playlist. While some got it down to a science, some might need some assistance.

Luckily for you DJ Eclipse and Danny Boy of House of Pain put together some classic. Erin go Braugh Bro!!!!!

Captain Midnite – Drown Me Out

Soooooo, the man known as Kyle Lucas’s friendly producer from Seattle is making waves with some music. This video, with its zombie concept, allows Captain to do his own thing while singing and jamming. I didn’t know he had solo aspirations. I just hope that it all works out for him. Nothing better than progress if you ask me.
