While lurking like a mother, I found a picture of ME. (I know its a based feeling.) The picture pretty much speaks for it self, it features Madbury’s own Phillip T. Annand & myself. It was taken during Nike’s 1Love All Borough Block Party.
Madbury club is one of the best websites that houses anything, a young twenty something or the uncool looking to change needs to know.

You many or may not know who the fuck Mike Shane is. If you know the force that is Mike Shane smile and nod as you read this. For those that don’t let me try my best to put into words what “The Mike Shane Experience” is all about. What I respect most about my friend is he is proud of where he comes from STATEN ISLAND. To know Mike Shane is to understand Mike Shane his thought process his ability to see the unexpected. Most of us walk through life blind to our surroundings, to get to where we feel we need to be. NOT Mike. I know Shane O’ Mac for 10 years, in my opinion he is one of the best known unknown photographers. His work backs up what most know about Mike Shane, he talented in his craft and he cares about he shows the world. He has been a creative fixture in the world of Emilio Sparks for that sporto I thank you.

While walking into the infamous Mike Shane’s aura last night, i automatically knew it was for something special. Thursday the 30th of July would be the date and time for the anticipated cover shoot for Emilio Spark’s “KICKS CHICKS AND PORNO FLICKS.” With good friends a couple of brews and great skills the shoot was underway. Joe worked on the makeup/hair with his assistant who quite honestly could’ve been in the shoot herself. Mike Shane and me got underway setting up the room and lights. Emilio sat with Kazeem of Source Magazine bouncing networking ideas off each-other for future times. Laura sat patiently in the madness cool calm and collected. This was gonna be a fun time. Mike Shane who is very talented and creates art using the surroundings in the shoot was in full effect using his magic. It was a great night with great people and talent filling that one studio. Check out some behind the scenes sneak peaks below.
