“Change” featuring Matt Beilis is the 2nd video released from The Higher Concept‘s (THC) next album entitled Everybody, set for a release date in late March. The track was produced by Mike Cash, J. Glaze, and Matt Beilis.
I was kicking it at the HOD this past weekend and I heard some new new that THC has been busy working on….Yeah it bangs. Stay ready.
Shawn Michaels fan and my broski Flukey just dropped a video with his Oceanz 13 crew. Young Flu goes in over Janelle Monae’s Tight Rope. Laya LaRoche sounds like Janelle Monae a little, how cute is Laya maybe its the fact she’s holding a cigar and wearing fancy stockings….Kanye Shrug.
Again I will say this if you dont support the talent that comes from where you live can you really call yourself a music fan?
MTA created a time-lapse video of 47,000 people running across the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge at the start of the 2011 New York City Marathon. Hey MTA if you want to do something nice lower the toll. There is no need for me to pay $13.00 to come back to where I live. Fuck a time-lapse lower the toll.
The Occupy Movement started in NYC on September 17th and has grown into a worldwide movement that has protests going on in over 200 cities across America. In NYC there has been huge outpouring of support from the hippies, the general public, celebrities as well as the larger work unions.
The Higher Concept, and producer J Glaze created a song about the Occupy movement. The Higher Concept (THC) visited these protestors in Liberty Plaza, and were upset to see how unfamiliar our friends and families were with the protests based on the little coverage it has received in mainstream media outlets. Inspired by the voice of the people, THC wrote a song and put together a music video showcasing what has been happening in NYC over the past three weeks.
And this is the most interesting song I have heard today. Noticing that the Wu is making a resurgence musically, it would only be right for these factions to link up and make gully-gully NY music. Not any of that positive, hold-hands-under-the-trees stuff. And I LOVE that type of music. Sometimes, however, it is time for me to rekindle that urban flame that hungers for the dirt-poor-on-the-corner sound. This should do the trick.
So next week July 19th thats a Tuesday for all hip cats…. Team Scumbino releases Scumbino’s Way. Jon Connor was in town for less than 24 hours. In that time span Jon shot two videos and had a live performance. The amount of respect if have for Jon is crazy, his flight landed & he and his camp came to staten and shot this video for several hours.
“Insecure Suicide is beautiful video, that shows an artists struggle in the music industry. Dealing with all the insecurities that lead to a loss of faith, but its faith that gives us complete confidence or trust to follow our dreams” - Puma
Scums The time has almost come for your ear holes to enjoy Scumbinos Way. Below is the album cover (of the year) and tracklisting! How hot are the two girls used in the cover…. I got a massive crush on both.
