Flip cam journalism aka let me buy a Canon 7D camera that also records video so I can call my self a “videographer” is a sham. Its a sea of let me the the exclusive before someone else, honestly it hurts the game more than helps.

I know a ton of creative videographer folk who have help me in my journey talent people who aren’t content whores. So whats this have to do with Sunday Love? This is the 3rd video in the series building up to the release of The Higher Concepts 5th full length LP “Everybody”. At the 2:44 minute mark Emilio Sparks who referrers to him self in the third person should have had the cameo in this video.

It would only be justifiable since Topanga was first featured on the monumental Scumbino’s Way, I really would have enjoyed multiple takes hugging Shana DeAndrea. I still get a lot of feedback and big upski’s about my mixtape, out of all the songs that I get props for Topanga is one where most girls say Awwwww its so cute to listen too. The song was produced by Mike Cash and the video was filmed edited and directed by The Higher Concept.

The Occupy Movement started in NYC on September 17th and has grown into a worldwide movement that has protests going on in over 200 cities across America. In NYC there has been huge outpouring of support from the hippies, the general public, celebrities as well as the larger work unions.

The Higher Concept, and producer J Glaze created a song about the Occupy movement. The Higher Concept (THC) visited these protestors in Liberty Plaza, and were upset to see how unfamiliar our friends and families were with the protests based on the little coverage it has received in mainstream media outlets. Inspired by the voice of the people, THC wrote a song and put together a music video showcasing what has been happening in NYC over the past three weeks.

In that time span Jon shot two videos and had a live performance. The amount of respect if have for Jon is crazy, his flight landed & he and his camp came to staten and shot this video for several hours.
