I’m always on the lookout for new and interesting artists…enter: Marina and the Diamonds. Quirky, fun, intriguing and talented are few words that come to mind when listening and watching Marina and the Diamonds. In her most recent video Marina gives us another side that we haven’t yet seen. A song I think a lot of us can relate to.
“On Monday, Marina uploaded a brand new video to a song titled “Fear and Loathing”. Instead of her usual upbeat tracks, “Fear and Loathing” is a raw, powerful track that exposes a side of her we haven’t seen, a vulnerable nakedness. She undergoes a makeover, cutting her hair into a medium-length bob and leaving the pieces of it on her shoulders. All I want to do is brush it off. Maybe she will in part 2 of the song, which comes out next Monday – Vinyl & Vodka
