The lovely songbird Monika Ashley releases her first single In The Water and gives us a little taste as to what we can expect on her upcoming project Problematique which is slated to drop within the next week or so. I came across Monika through a friend of mine and instantly fell in love with her voice. Whatever IT is, Ms. Ashley’s definitely got that and much more. In The Water is produced by Mel & Mus and has been on repeat since it found it’s way in my inbox.
In The Water is a great introduction for those not familiar with this Dallas beauty, her lyrics are personal and relatable. Her voice is a breath of fresh air, you can tell she’s got some soul influences which I absolutely love. I’m very excited to hear Problematique in it’s entirety but for press play and enjoy below!
