I think Jamla has been channeling their inner throwback sensibilities to bring refreshing music to the forefront. First, it was Rapsody with her Lauryn influenced “Believe Me”. Now? Sean Boog finds a way to bring his love for ATCQ to “A Love Never Dies”. And this is some soul soothing stuff right here. I pray this album is as dope as the others. Or even a sleeper hit (Black Boy Radio, anyone?) would be nice.
