There was a point in my life where I had a huge crush on Wale (stop your judgments) and hated Solange cause they were dating. Since that relationship has ended and Wale has becoming increasingly more of a baby on twitter, I’ve come to really like Solange. She’s super unique, very comfortable in her own skin and oh yeah, she has a beautiful voice. We haven’t heard much from her musically in a while and although this track was recorded two years ago it’s still refreshing to hear her voice.
