Asher Roth – Pabst & Jazz

From “I Love College” to this? This is what occurs when label drama, misconceptions, and a full fledged career reworking happens. When a man deals with that type of stuff, they have to show people what they are TRULY capable of. So far so good, Asher. So far…so good.

The Richers (Jonathan Lowell Remix) – Tiron, Blu and Asher Roth

This is a track off of Tiron’s Mstrd that was towards the end of the tape. How do I know? Because I use to bump this free album DAILY last year. It was just that good. So, with that understood, we have the wunderkind producer Jonathan Lowell (Chuuwee’s homeboy) releasing a remix of the song. You gotta love it.

Asher Roth- Last Man Standing

Interesting concept for a video, if I say so myself. Asher Roth is playing the comic book hero…..or whatever. Reminds me of those monster/zombie movies/books in which there is a one man army. Asher isn’t your regular Bruce Campbell. However, he does come with some dope music. Even with the commercial overtones (Akon, anyone?), the lyrics are still potent.

Asher Roth- Ampersand

As much as people wanted Asher Roth to be the next Eminem, I am glad that he isn’t. Nor did he truly want to be. What he wanted to do was make chill music that related to life from a regular man’s point of view. Over a dope Al Green sample, nonetheless. Most of us gotta respect that.

Asher Roth (Feat. Quan) – Summertime‬‏

Asher Roth is still around. He still making dope music. I’m happy about that one. This summertime jam featuring Quan can be played by bbq’s, at parties, or in drop tops cruising in the breeze. People need to realize that even lyrical rappers can make easy going jams. Loving it.

Asher Roth x Nottz Raw – Enforce The Law

Asher Roth and the very talented producer that is Nottz Raw comes through with a new video off their recently released project the Rawth EP.

The visuals are inspired from one of my favorite movies (Training Day) as I think APlusFilmz did a great job on the direction. If you haven’t downloaded the Rawth EP yet, I suggest you put away all those prejudgments you have and take a chance. Although it dropped in December, I’m STILL rocking with some of the joints on there.
