Recently Chris Hero signed a developmental deal with the WWE, working in its developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) under the ring name Kassius Ohno. A title wave of joy rushed me as I clicked this youtube link to see one of my closest friends do what he does best, I know the struggle that was to get to this very point and I know whats to come. Ive traveled miles to watched Chris in gyms and will do the same to watch him in arena’s family supports family. Im proud of you bro PMA ALL DAY!!!!!

Indy Classics: Mike Quackenbush vs Chris Hero
You don’t need big arenas or top of the line production values to have great wrestling. Sometimes the best matches are performed in front of 100 people. Take Chikara for example. They don’t have a huge budget or super large crowds, but they still put on a good show. This match is a perfect example of that. Chris Hero and Mike Quackenbush are two of the most praised performers in the wrestling industry, and treat every venue the same. It’s all about hard work. Quackenbush and Hero have wrestled numerous times before, but this particular bout is a straight up grudge match. Their friendly rivalry was over by this point. Chikara history was also made on this night, as it was the first time the “Chikara Special” hold was ever applied in a match. Enjoy quality wrestling.

Regarded as “the last of a dying breed,” Kingston is a veteran of Chikara, and has been in some of the most important matches in the company’s history. While vicious in the ring, Eddie Kingston comes across as a pretty cool guy. You definitely don’t want to get on his bad side though. Unless you want a spinning back fist to the face.

This Week’s Gospel: ROH Best In The World

On Sunday June the 26th, Emillio Sparks and myself were fortunate to attend Ring Of Honor (ROH)’s Best in the World I Pay Per View as guest of the one and only: Chris Hero. Emillio asked me to do a little review, but I’d rather talk more about the experience as opposed doing a match by match recap of the whole affair.
For those of you who don’t know what exactly an iPPV, it’s all the rage these days in indy wrestling. Basically companies all over the tri state area are putting their shows out there on the internet for a small price (10-15 bucks), thus giving those who can’t make it to the shows or wait for the DVD to come out a chance to see the show as it happens. This is pretty darn awesome, but for the most part doesn’t always end up feeling “special”. Mainly because most of these companies simply take their standard run of the mill monthly card and toss it out there on the net live. There’s nothing wrong with that. Heck diehards eat that stuff up. ROH however is a very different beast.

Kings of Wrestling v. Yoshihiro Takayama & Takuma Sano
So I have never been to Japan, but Wrestling Super star & my good friend Chris Hero has. Chris is a great friend and constant support of good music. Its nice to see & hear KOW walk the ramp of Budokan Hall to the “KoW theme”

Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli on Peruvian Variety Show (video)
During there tour of Peru The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) were on a Peruvian Varity show. I haven’t a clue as to what is going on in the clips but its way more entertaining than MTV’s “The Seven”. KIGNS REIGN SUPREME IN PERU.
