Clear Soul Forces – Beats, Rhymes, and Life (video)

Yes! It finally premiered yesterday and I am bringing it to you today. You know you want to see this. It is the premiere video for the first single off of the upcoming Clear Soul Forces album. Man, this type of stuff makes me happy. Peep it!

Clear Soul Forces – Beats x Rhymes x Life

1st official single from the upcoming Clear Soul Forces’ Gold PP7′s. Yeah, I am digging this (as usual). As long as their album differs from the first, then they may have a winner. Plus, they need to focus on making sure their music doesn’t lose its quality.

Clear Soul Forces x Idris Elba – Gotham City (freebie)

Clear Soul Forces x Idris Elba - Gotham City

Damn. Just for the sake of being verified, they released an Idris Elba featured track. Idris sounds okay. He doesn’t totally take away from the track, however. He sounds kinda like a “rough around the edges” Slick Rick. Well, somewhat. This song is still dope as hell.

Clear Soul Forces x Kooley High – Freq Freq

Clear Soul Forces ain’t nothing to fuck with. Kooley High ain’t nothing to fuck with. Put them together and you got some madness. Just put this on and relax. This is exactly what it is supposed to be.

Sinopsis x Clear Soul Forces – Gets No Better (remix)

Man, and to think I had to harass Sinopsis for this remix. Well, I am back at work (school teacher). Therefore, I get to miss out on the fun I had while I was out of school. Good thing Sinopsis is great at responding. LOL!

Clear Soul Forces – Stick ‘Em

Concept may not be all that original as rap videos go. I don’t care. Reason why? Peep the end of the video to see how it is all interwoven. THEN you will get it. Not everything in a video is truly face value. Peep the connection, Kevin Bacon. Peep the connection.

Sound and Vision episode 2: Clear Soul Forces

This is that realness right here. For such a positive group, this documentary is partially grim. Now I understand why they make the music they make: sure necessity. This is a necessity for their lives. All the struggle and strife that they have to bear only made them stronger. Some are even dealing with their own personal demons. But its the music that keeps them together. Its the music that keeps them from being pushed over the edge.

Clear Soul Forces – Detroit Revolution(s) (review)

I had to do it. People need to listen to this group. They deserve the credit. They deserve the props. Support their music. Read the post and understand why.

Exerpt:

Once again, Detroit is doing it big. People thought that things were getting rough after the unleashed beasts that are Elzhi, Royce Da 5’9, and Black Milk. Yet, people didn’t expect the future to bring Danny Brown and Quelle Chris. What is even scarier is the inclusion of Clear Soul Forces. Their brand of hip hop is pure nostalgic lyrical head nod music. With Detroit Revolution(s), this band of four brings what many have been missing: pure lyricism over breaks and jazzy grooves.

Clear Soul Forces – Detroit Revolution(s) (album purchase)

These youngins are doing their thing. With that retro-super-future music based on dope beats and dope rhymes, their skill is undeniable. With the release of their new album, they are setting themselves up to succeed with the rest of the Detroit music masters. I just hope people figure out that their music is just that good. Give it a listen and then purchase it at YOUR OWN PRICE. Trust me. I won’t lead you astray.

Clear Soul Forces – Get No Better

This is the type of stuff I grew up on: easily lyrical and soothing at the same time. I can’t get enough of this. Plus, they are from Detroit, too? Produced by KanKick, this song is a pure winner. Hip hop will never die. Period.
