My answer to the question: it depends on who you ask. If you ask someone like me “do you respect hip hop?”, I would say “Of course, I do. It is the music for all people once understood for its values”. If you would ask others that don’t understand the music AS A WHOLE, then they would probably think of it as a fad that has grown past its fifteen minutes of fame and glory. Whatever the case may be, my homies at Dead End Hip Hop have something to say about it.
