Pryourity S/S 2012 (Delivery 1)

Our ATL pals, Pryourity, sent over the first delivery from their Spring/Summer 2012 collection. The first drop is the “Masters of Fate” hooded pullover made of 50/50 Poly-Cotton blend and features the “Masters of Fate” graphic. The hoodie is pretty light weight so perfect for those cool spring and summer lurking nights.

Masters of Fate is about symmetry, not necessarily homage to Salvador Dalí, but more so his beliefs on the duality of man that brings us to create, and inspire. The piece is a tribute to surrealism, the breaking down of perception, and the twisting of influences. According to Dalí, the rhinoceros horn is the most pure and divine geometric shape because it grows in a logarithmic spiral. Throughout his work Dalí featured the rhino horn as exploding particles, or as human beings made up of the horn. The decision to have the “F’s” meet in the center was a reflection of this perfect imbalance that also exists in us (sacred and profane, good and evil). By giving the graphic a harsher treatment with the Escher tones, it exposes a raw simplicity. Desire and dreams are represented in this piece; the desire for all is to carve out our own path; Masters of Fate symbolizes this.

Stare at Rihanna in Armani’s latest lingerie advertising campaign. A litte to airbrushed in these pictures for my liking but there is no denying that Rihanna is redonkculously hot. How grand life would be to be on a beach with this broad and do nothing but grope each other in the ocean.

The Steed Scarfs

Probably the best advertisement video in the game. The whole Steed Lord (Icelandic band) crew are some creative mofos. I am more fascinated with the effects than the actual scarf and I am not sure if that’s intentional or not. Either way this video captured my attention for the entire minute and forty-one seconds. These funky scarfs came just in time for this atrociously cold weather. Do remember scarfs are as cool as you make them. Own your style, pay no attention to trends. Kali (model in the video) the bands lead singer is the creator behind these awesome bright colorful neon-blastic scarfs. J’adore her! For all Star Wars and Bape fans out there, get your money ready: They are joining forces. I don’t know who will be more exciting: the fashionably conscious or the bootleggers ready to take advantage. Whichever comes first, this will be genius in marketing if this is taken full advantage of. Seriously. Watch Rihanna Take Her Clothes Off In New Armani Ad

Rihanna’s hot. Whether you like her music or not, she’s very pretty and has a great figure. Questionable hairstyles aside, she does a bang up job at consistently making my peen hard. And that’s often, because she’s on pretty much every ad right now. Rihanna even gives sex appeal to a  recent Coconut Water ad, of all things. To save you from all the stupid pretentious non sexy bullshit, skip to the 40 second mark. Rihanna strips down to her bra and panties, and then sexily puts on another skin tight outfit. And trust, it looks a lot hotter than it reads. There’s a great shot of her butt as she walks towards an elevator too. Is this description creepy yet? Sorry. Don’t act like you don’t love butts and other lady parts, asshole.

There are a lot of pretty celebrity females out there, but they don’t really act sexy.  Maybe slutty, but not sexy. Rihanna’s whole attitude screams sexy. Her facial expressions, walk, style, and music all exude it. And a lot of it has to do with her Caribbean upbringing. It’s a very sensual culture. And we’d love to see more of it over here. Yo Rihanna, I ain’t like that Chris Brown guy, so get at me cause I’d really like to be your man.

Where the fuck are the auto laces for the Nike MAGs?

Where the fuck are the auto laces? Wasn’t the point/hype of the Air McFly’s as I like to call them the auto lace technology? Nike should have just waited until that technology was ready to market before running this campaign. I mean 2015 is four years away,if we get cars that can use piss as fuel before auto lacing imma be pissed. The commercial dodge the issue by pointing out that the sneakers “light up,” lights in shoes have been around for what…two decades? Shit I had LA Lights in 1990, technology has grown since 90s.

We have smartphones and instagram. We can face time on an iPhone why cant we have power laces? The technology is there right? The reason the shoe had so much hype was due to a movie and a possible patent Nike has on auto lacing. Nike you done dropped the ball,these shoes are now just as over hyped, more useless than the Air Yeezy’s. Thank you for destroying a boy hood dream of owning shoes that self-tie.

The new Nike MAGs, a line of Back to the Future Part II-inspired shoes. Fox showed off the kicks, which are almost an exact replica of the ones worn by Marty McFly himself in the 1989 movie. The actor explained that the limited edition shoes (there’s only 1,500 of them) will be auctioned off on Nike’s eBay site and that the proceeds will go to his Parkinson’s research foundation. As Fox put it, the coveted shoes will go to three groups of “people with major joneses”: Sneakerheads, Back to the Future fanatics (who Fox joked are, “Out of their minds… in a good way”), and the Parkinson’s community that want to help advance research. Better yet, Fox revealed that Google co-founder Sergey Brin will match up to $50 million.
