Clarks x Concepts Ashcott Collection

Concepts has teamed up with Clarks to create a new canvas and leather slip in shoe. A slip in shoe is that pair of flat footwear you can slip your foot in and just go, no lace up, no nothing just go, and thats what the Clarks x Concepts looks like to me. The summer time, settled, fresh look also adds a calming, serene vibe to any outfit. The Clarks x Concepts canvas come in three colors with a standardized white sole for all. The colorways consist of veggie oil green, red, and black. The shoes are limited to only 800 pairs in all and will be released on June 11, 2011.

Land art, Earthworks, or Earth art is an art movement, in which landscape and the work of art are inextricably linked. It is also an art form that is created in nature, using natural materials such as Soil, Rock (bed rock, boulders, stones), organic media (logs, branches, leaves, and water with introduced materials such as concrete, metal, asphalt. Sculptures are not placed in the landscape, rather, the landscape is the means of their creation. Often earth moving equipment is involved. The works frequently exist in the open, located well away from civilization, left to change and erode under natural conditions.

Inside and Out

Chicken Point Cabin by Olson Kundig; The design concept is composed of basically three parts: a concrete block box with a plywood insert and a 4-foot diameter steel fireplace (the bong). Materials consist of concrete block, steel, concrete floors and plywood. Which is very low-maintenance. Open interior spaces are intended to be a extension to the natural environment. “Going Green”.
