Tim Westwood Interviews Tyler, The Creator

Tim Westwood is just so odd and awkward. Tim Westwood is my perfect man. Kidding, up top he interviews Tyler, The Creator and talks about a varitey of things but mainly focuses on the cast issues that Tyler’s recently found himself in. I literally laughed out loud at the 1:25 mark when Tim talks about Drake.

Kendrick Lamar x Laced Boston

First off, can I just state how extremely upset I am because I miss K Dot during his New York stop. Pissed. Please come back. What I love about this young man is that he speaks about what’s real, what he knows and he can relate to so many people on some many levels. He has some joints on Overly Dedicated about relationships that even hit close to home. I think it takes a very talented individual to touch so many people on such a broad spectrum. Up top the West Coast MC talks about his upcoming project Section .80, record deals, HiiiPower, Dr. Dre, and more. Section 80 drops on July 2nd and you better believe I’ll be spending my money on that.

The Emilio Sparks Experience – Episode 17 – The Facing Rejection Episode

Waddup Scumbags!

This week we bring you another amazing episode. We get pretty heavy into Scream 4, Sex and the City (topical!), and Mike and Emilio play a mean, awful prank on Carlo. We also read the news and your tweets (send them to @emiliosparks). Our third segment is joined by Sarah Varon, who apparently has a history with Mike, so that should be interesting.

XV – Invasion Radio Interview & Freestyle

I lurve Boss Lady’s accent. People with accents just make everything sound 80% better. Up top Vizzy talks about his video being featured on Jay-Z’s site, his new mixtape Zero Heroes (which you can download right here if you haven’t) and we also get an impressive freestyle from the self proclaimed XBOX whore.

TheDummy Presents: Q&A With Juno

Juno, is his name creating mix tapes, fucking bitches, and ripping through bars is just a little game he likes to play. With many singles under his belt, a newly released mix tape titled “Sleeping With Demons,” a team you would kill for, and a mind out of this world I find him fascinating. Yes he’s your everyday teenage boy next door, going to school, hanging out with the homies, and looking for bad broads to bone but theirs more to him than just that. In those few ways he might be ordinary but inside the booth, and on paper he’s more like extraordinary.

Swaggatory: Jhene Aiko Interview

Ms. Jhene Aiko (pronounced juh-nay. ahh-ee-ko) is not only a beautiful face but she has an amazing voice to go along with that pretty mug of hers. I think it’s not fair to be gorgeous AND talented but..those are the tales of an awkward girl. Her recently released Sailing Soul(s) is a project that gets an immense amount of play in my iPod so if you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly suggest doing so by clicking on the link above.

Up top she speaks with Swaggatory about her favorite mixtape and album of 2010, her recent collaborations (most noteworthy being with Kendrick Lamar and H.O.P.E.) and much more.

Good*Fella Media Interview w/ DOM KENNEDY

While Dom was in New York for his listening party he got a chance to visit the Good*Fella Media crew to talk about a vast number of things.

Dom dedicates a good chunk of this interview to talk about his thoughts on Funk Flex’s commentary on Tupac Shakur a couple months back. They also speak on his most recent project The Original Dom Kennedy and his upcoming release of From The Westside With Love II. If you’re late on hearing Dom Kennedy, I suggest you catch up because this young man is going places and fast.

TheDummy Presents: Q and A With Scott Mckenzie

Scott Mckenzie, Great Scott, Scott the Great, or @GreatScottinc what ever you may call him, he is the epitome of what an uprising entrepreneur should be. With a book titled “The Online Diaries Of Folklore” out, a magnitude of websites like NBRHD, Great Scott Mckenzie, Purple Mango to name a few, and modeling gigs under his belt for famed companies Kid Robot, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Levis, Billionaire Boys Club, and Ice Cream you can pretty much say Scott does it all. While this might be true Scott still had time to sit down and answer some questions for us over here at EmilioSparks.com
