Juicy J x The Weeknd - One of Those Nights

It sounds almost more like The Weeknd featuring Juicy J. Or you could say that Juicy J allowed Abel to fully do what he does. Whatever the case may be, this actually works very, very well. It is both nicely smooth and understated in its own brilliance laid within hood ignorance. I hope it blows up like “Bands Make Her Dance” or whatever that other song is called.

Well, this IS is the Wiz Khalifa that I wanted to hear: spitting that nothingness with a smooth flow and even smoother beat. Yeah, this isn’t as sample laden and experimental as Kush & OJ. However, he isn’t reaching for that commercial sh*t audience like Rolling Papers. Stick to the script, young man. Stick to the script.

Anything that has to do with The Weeknd is all wins for me. Coming from a track off of his Blue Dream and Lean mixtape, Juicy J gets extra visual with this video. In fact, it is actually dope how he uses the track and overextends it in the beginning. Check this out. You my actually like it.

Yes. The Juiceman is back with this Taylor Gang affiliated mixtape. I don’t know how others will feel about his affiliation. Personally, I could care less. Whatever it takes to keep his life going and money flowing, I’m all with it.

There is nothing better than some smoker’s jams by Juicy J and Wiz. Whether or not I care for Rolling Papers, I still enjoy Wiz when he’s doing what he does best: make smooth smoker’s jams. Just my opinion, though.
