Verbal Kent – Body The Beat (prod. Khrysis) (Official Video)

Verbal Kent bodies the beat. Nothing more, nothing less. Khrysis brought that dark, ominous boom bap. Nothing more, nothing less. So, just nod your head in agreement. Nothing more, nothing less.

Talib Kweli, Elzhi, and Phonte – No Competition (prod. by Khrysis)

Jamla is the Squad

Jamla Is The Squad comes out January 28th, 2014. I’m already bumping Lord Steppington (review coming soon). Besides alladat, I did mention the release date, right?

Verbal Kent – Raponomics (single)

Verbal Kent - Sound of the Weapon

I see that Kent of the Verbal isn’t shying away from rhyming anytime soon. From there, one should notice his flow is still hungry. Unlike too many vets, Verbal hasn’t ever let up.

Truck North – Bitches Brew

Straight from Youtube:

The first single off the highly anticipated EP Murder By Mourning.
Produced by Khrysis.
Visuals by Aaron ” Yikes Lee” Ford.

Ain’t that something. The first single off of an EP produced by Khrysis. I am beginning to think that Khrysis is becoming the go-to-guy for independent/underground EP production. But maybe I am being over-observant.

Khrysis – Merry Khrysmas (album for purchase)

Khrysis Merry Khrysmas

Have you ever wanted to hear your favorite Jamla producer (or at least one of them) flip samples of your favorite Christmas songs? If you do, then you need to cop that Khrysis Merry Khrysmas album. It would serve as a great digital stocking stuffer for the hip hop head in you. It makes for great scenery music, too.

If not, then stay sleep you sheep. And that is the best way to put it.

Add-2 x Khrysis – Club Church

Add-2 x Khrysis Club Church

Club Church is an interesting concept. Add-2 makes it happen lyrically. Khrysis comes with a banger of a beat. What if church was like the club, though? I’m just saying. It is something to consider.

Between Heaven & Hell is coming soon, goons!

The Away Team f. Talib Kweli & Rapsody– Set It Off

Damn….this goes….hard. Sweet baby Jesus on a slice of bread with Frank Ocean Mustard, this track is ethnically hitting. NOBODY comes wack on this song. I mean, I knew it would be dope. But, good grief. I’m not sure anybody let up. Talib sounds like he looked in his bank account and it was 1996 again. Yeah, that hungry. Jamla > your life right now.

The Away Team – Scars and Stripes (song)

The Away Team “Scars & Stripes” by duckdown

The Away Team are back at it courtesy of Duck Down Records. Being a fan of their music for so long, Sean Boog and Khrysis have been doing their thing for so long that it isn’t even funny. The Justice League Jamla/IWWMG repz know how to make great music. You ought to peep some of Sean Boog’s past mixtapes for references. Trust me.

Khrysis feat. Laws- Love Today

What is even more hilarious is that this song isn’t exactly about “love”, though. LOL! Listen and enjoy!
