Actually, I didn’t like a lot of the production. Or, maybe the production should have been better. And yes, I don’t know where this album is going either. Uninspired? Maybe. New direction? Yeah. But damn, he needs to get back to the quality that he was making before.

I like the Kid Cudi love Big Boi is giving out. But it makes me wonder if he is “reaching out” too much. Sometimes, it is great for an artist to “do what they do”. That is the usual approach that brings success.

I don’t care what people say about this guy Kid Cudi: I am a fan. I have all of his albums and I support his movement. This video is no different. I love what he brings to the table. He isn’t the best rhymer or singer. But I enjoy what he does because of his raw emotion and temperment. Sue me. Then teleport to me like your name is Jamie (unless you aren’t a chick).

Kid Cudi is coming out with some new music soon (I imagine). And to think, I’m still jamming to WZRD. Regardless, King Chip (with his oh so many rings) adds his flavor to the track. I smell hit single? Or do I smell unappreciated coolness? Only the fans will decide.

Hit Boy (Surf Club) feat. Kid Cudi – Old School Caddy (single)
Old school Caddy or a new school benz? Man, this reminds me of some Outkast laced Kanye type stuff. Yeah, this is a great song to me. Hit Boy might have a future behind the mic. Oh, and the production is soothing and groovy at the same time. Oh, and I’m a Kid Cudi fan. Chalk this up as a win.

Wzrd – Brake
Kid Cudi + Dot Da Genius= Wzrd. No, I’m not a regular rock listener. However, I like the ambient feel that this track gives me. Another thing is the lyrics: not giving up, finding your will to live, and not stopping.
Plus, I have always been a fan of Kid Cudi, drugs or no drugs, foolishness or no foolishness.
This is just another reminder that Kid Cudi is bigger than hip hop.

Kid CuDi – Maniac (Short Film)
I’m sorry, I know I have to take Shia LeBeouf seriously for directing this short film but all I can think about is him catching the fade in Vancouver…and wondering where WAS Bumblebee?? Sigh, Even Stevens. Anyways, this was appropriately released yesterday (Halloween) and is actually quite epic, “Kid Cudi Man On The Moon II” is in stores now!

Kid Cudi – No One Believes Me
You know what? This is actually a refreshingly dope video. Conceptually strong within its vampiric aspirations, Kid Cudi made this song for the Fright Night remake that is coming out soon. I hope that the movie is just as good as this song. Yet, something about remakes tend to disappoint me.
