L.E.P. Bogus Boys are back with another video from their mixtape Now Or Neva which honestly has jams for days. This is one of my favorite tracks off the project which is also one of the most aggresive. Shot by Gregory Buissreth, who also shot “We Want Our Money,” is fittingly grimy, mixing performance clips of the guys in different hoods around the city with pictures of notorious Chicago gangsters. “Artists from other cities try to claim culture that’s not theirs,” explain L.E.P. on the inspiration behind the song and video. “This is just a message: it’s not so easy to claim our culture. Either you’re really part of it, or you’re not; it’s not a fashion statement.” Check it out above!
