Desperate and pathetic, are the word that first come to mind after watching Mayor Bloomberg beg like a fool, in a cheap attempt to sway LeBron James to sign with the New York Knicks.

How much money is being spent on this campaign, and what causes the mayor’s office to spent their time campaigning for something that might be a waste of time ? This video looks like a college student with 6 months of experience in final cut pro put this “campaign” together. The City as a whole has bigger problems to worry about.

Do I think LeBron would be a cash cow for the city ? CLEARLY. Would he be the super hero that ends our HUGE fiscal woes ? NO. Don’t get it twisted having LeBron in New York would be dopestreet, but what does it mean for us the fan ? Nothing. Higher ticket prices, the possible hope of a championship maybe. LeBron can not do this alone he needs a cast of supporting players, the Knicks do not have that.

LeBron told Larry King that Cleveland “has an edge” on the competition. Jay-Z hasn’t brought the Nets to Brooklyn, yet. So guess what ?

He’s not going anywhere, and if he does, its because Lebron wants what Lebron wants. His thought process wont be skewed by all these “Come On Lebron” campaigns in EVERY FUCKEN CITY !!!
