Nas feat. Amy Winehouse – Cherry Wine (video)

This is one of my favorites off of Life Is Good. Amy is doing her thing on this chorus. I wish she would have lived. Yet, hard living claims anyone: young, old, or extremely talented. Still, it feels good to hear Nas make grown man music.

Dead End Hip Hop – Nas “Life Is Good” review

I agree with this review somewhat. Maybe I will go along with FeeFo. This IS the Nas I have been waiting for myself. Then again, a lot of them liked Untitled better. I don’t know. So, thus, I will be listening to a lot of Untitled. However, this is a great start to an afternoon if you haven’t peeped it yet.

Nas – Locomotive feat. Large Professor (prod. by No I.D.) (single)

Well, it is safe to say that this is for the “trapped in the ’90′s niggas”. I’m glad to be one of those because this song is fire. This is that boom bap that he would have made at 17. He is coming with that rugged, truthful flow like he did when he was young. Maturity aside, this is that 90′s ish. Oh, and Extra P is on here talking, too.

Nas feat. Rick Ross – Accident Murderer (single)

Well, this is something that proves Nas may have gotten over his “wack beat picking” spell. Another banger from No I.D.? I can deal with that. I wish Rick Ross was on topic, though. Or maybe he is. I dunno. Nas, however, was perfectly on topic.

Nas – Daughters (video)

This, in my eyes, will probably go down as video of the year. This is real music for real human beings. Remember last year when Macklemore’s Wing$ came out? I got the same feeling. If you aren’t feeling this, I question your humanity. That’s all I need to say about it.

Nas – Daughters (single)

Damn. This song is probably one of the most heartfelt, real songs I done heard from Nas in a while. Not that his other stuff isn’t real. But damn, this is a good look because he is putting himself out there. People need to realize: his daughter is 17. He’s a man. He will always be afraid for his daughter’s safety and well being. Damn, man…..

Nas – The Don

Nas…is back? First, it was “Nasty”, now its “The Don”? Oh, and this song is banging. Not unexpected. Yet, it is refreshing to hear Nas over “bangers”. It is what he deserves. Period.
