Checkout this new mixtape from Bad Boy’s Los titled “Becoming King”. It features Wiz Khalifa, Diddy, Ludacris, Fantasia & more. The tape has good production but a little too feature heavy. Los shines tough though, he shows he got all the skills in the world with the word play. Stream it below:

Dead End Hip Hop Approved Mixtape!!!

So, my homies had to shift through 300 or so songs just to whittle it down to the best 19 songs. I KNOW that was the most annoying situation to deal with. Plus, they have a video to make sure people understood how annoying it was. Now? They have a mixtape of concentrated heat for the streets. Hate if you want to.

Peep…….then listen and download below….

Music Review: Talib Kweli – Attack The Block

Well, before he drops his album, Talib unleashes a mixtape. How good is it? See for yourself!

The excerpt:

Talib Kweli is probably known for his prolific nature. Instead of waiting on his career to restart or mess around with major labels (as of late), he opted to be independent. Is he moving a whole bunch of units? Not really sure. Does he have mastery over his own career? Absolutely. With that mastery, he took the time to release the Z-Trip assisted Attack The Block mixtape. Influenced by the title and thematics of the same London based based tongue in cheek horror flick, Kweli and Z-Trip make a mixtape that is more mix than tape.

Meaning: there is actual mixing of great music on this album.

Tuge – Ignorant Elegance: Hi-Class Hood Sh*t

I’ve definitely been waiting for this one. Mookie Jones – Mack (mixtape)

Mookie Jones, the southern mack, brings up Mack. What is this mixtape dedicated to? Macking of course. What else should there be? Well, there could be songs about subject matter. But does he have that, too? How about you listen to what he has to offer. And keep it Mackalicious. Suckers.

I/O – Isolation (Mixtape)

If you’re unfamiliar with I/O, he is formally known as Ayo Olatunji; a very talented multi-instrumentalist, producer and artist hailing from New York City. I’m a little late on posting this project but hopefully this is a reminder for those who have yet to stream or download. Isolation is definitely a well produced body of work, which we can credit to Kozza Babumba, Le’Roy Benros and Jordan Ware. Every track perfectly suits I/O’s smooth, sultry and progressive vocals. ‘Isolation‘ comes a year after the release of I/O’s debut US project, ’8 Bit Love’, and the new record is further proof that his songwriting and eclectic production is set to take the music world by storm. Enjoy!

XV – Popular Culture (mixtape review) by Dead End Hip Hop

XV’s Popular Culture? Yeah, I like this project too. Zero Heroes is better. But still, it is dope to me. Most of the conceptual tracks really work.

Thee Tom Hardy – Guerrilla Broadcast (album review)

Thee Tom Hardy minus Jamla? Will the world crumble and his career end? ‘Fraid not, people. He will keep pushing. As long as people support him, he will survive.

Excerpt:

Thee Tom Hardy is working really hard to stake a claim in the rap game. Before, he was affiliated with Jamla. Now? I’m not exactly sure. It doesn’t seem as if he struck out on his own. Or maybe I am mistaken. It makes no difference to me honestly. His new mixtape, Guerilla Broadcast, is out for the masses. From the thorough listen that I gave it, Hardy is still on point.
