Good grief, is that an all star cast on that stage just to support Kendrick? There is nothing but hip hop legends and masterminds supporting this guy right now. Even Game had to give the young man a shout out. Then again, Kendrick is on Game’s album spitting extra hard on the first song. I’m just hoping Kendrick sells multiple copies of Section 80. Get that independent money, sir!

Unannounced Facebook treat coming from Mos Def. Sad part is that it is just a snippet. However, if I would have gotten to hear Kweli rip the verse, then that would have settled things. Cuzo made me a audio cassette (remember those) mix of his favorite tunes. De La Soul’s Big Brother Beat was on that mix and that is where I first learned of Mighty Mos.
In this video Mos is performing one of my favorite songs Travellin’ Man. How I miss this Mos Def, new Mos is cool. IMO lyrically when Black on Both sides dropped Mos was so crisp with it. Hopefully signing with G.O.O.D music will bring out that old Mos Def.
