MisanthropikOne – Jedi Mind Tricks — Violence Begets Violence — Album Review

One of my favorite hip hop video bloggers gives his spill on the Jedi Mind Tricks album and the background story behind it all. Yes, Stoupe doesn’t produce for them anymore. Yes, we can get over it. Yes, they are still going to make dope music. I can’t wait to hear this album just to see how ill it really is. People, things happen like this all the time. Stoupe may come back. He may not. Keep it moving.

Hip-Hop Blasphemy — XXL Rates Lil Wayne Higher Than Evidence!!!! WTF???!!!

LOL! What makes this hilarious to me is that I have expressed my views on this to the point of nausea and being seen as a “hater”. Say what you will, but XXL has pulled this ridiculous stunt before. Example: Big Sean’s album got a XL rating within the magazine. Yet, albums like Rapsody’s “Thank H.E.R. Later” or even Smoke Dza’s “The Hustler’s Catalogue” get “L” ratings. Many people have panned Big Sean’s album for having great production surrounded by off kilter, underwhelming punchlines that came off cornier than hoe cakes. Therefore, this rant of his comes as no surprise to me and many others.

I’m just saying.

Misanthropik One speaks on Vinnie Paz and his “issues”

Well, this is something that caught me off guard. Someone actually speaking out against Vinnie and his “issues” with Kanye and any other rapper he doesn’t like. It is cool to actually think that some of these other rappers are not your cup of tea. That is understandable. However, obsessively speaking against another artist only makes you look small. As a man, you shouldn’t constantly say something about another man for YEARS unless they tried to hinder your life. Misanthropik One reviews Watch The Throne

The Misanthropik One gives his 2cents about this album. The only problem I have with the review is that it is broken up into two parts. That means I have to wait for the other part. Yet and still, I respect his viewpoints and opinions. What he says tends to be worthwhile.

Update: Part 2!

The White Girl Mob, White People Saying Nigga, Jumpoff TV & Mistah FAB

The Misanthropik One gets down on the White Girl Mob, saying the word “nigga”, Jumpoff TV and what Mistah Fab has to say.

I’m going to drop it like this: I agree The Misanthropik One makes the most sense. Black people have more important issues to work out. If you are going to get up in arms about a chick using the word “nigga”, then just eradicate the word and shut up. People at Jump Off got really touchy feely. Tell people to stop using the word so freely then. All that jibba jabba about “what you are going to do to somebody” because they say “nigga”? Get over it, chumps. Find some time in ya life. Plenty of white people say “nigga” because it is widely used. SOME of those people use that word because it is what they grew up around.

Get lives.
