Trae Tha Truth ft. MDMA,Lupe Fiasco, Big Boi, Wale & Wiz Khalifa – I’m On

This is one of those few times that a group effort with major artists comes together and actually sounds GREAT! I’m sorry, but a lot of times these songs come off corny or lacking in certain spots. When ALL artists come with great flows, though? Even Wiz Khalifa kills it! And I love Wiz, but his Rolling Papers stuff was mostly…eh. THIS, however, is what I always wanted to hear from him.

It takes Trae Tha Truth to bring the best in people. I swear.

Wiz Khalifa – California (video)

I just hope that his new mixtape (Taylor Allderdice) is in more of the vein of Kush & OJ instead of Rolling Papers. This song right here? Reminds me of the stuff that made him the boss of the independent scene. That chill, smoke, and ride music. People don’t realize how creatively mundane Kush & OJ was (and still is). Tah, well……

Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa – 630

Straight off of the feature film project Mac and Devin Go To High School comes this song. Whether or not you are fans of them matters not. This is a pretty chill song. And yes, I have been posting chill stuff as of late. Sue me. This is the stuff I like. Get with it!

Terrace Martin feat. Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa – Do It Again

I rather listen to this than some of that other mess that is out there. Yeah, it is pop sounding. At least its respectable artists that going in over the beat with Terrace Martin. Plus, this is funky.

Juicy J feat. Wiz Khalifa – Stoners Night Pt. 2

Who the neighbors? Kobe Bryant from the Lakers….now that’s paper!

There is nothing better than some smoker’s jams by Juicy J and Wiz. Whether or not I care for Rolling Papers, I still enjoy Wiz when he’s doing what he does best: make smooth smoker’s jams. Just my opinion, though.

Chevy Woods- The Cookout Mixtape

Chevy Woods, which many as Wiz’s weed carrier, just dropped his mixtape for the masses. Personally, I don’t agree with the sentiments about him being his weed carrier. I like what Chevy Woods has to offer. All I’m worried about is making sure he carves his own lane. This mixtape features Wiz Khalifa on the majority of the tracks like a Raekwon-Ghostface type deal. I’m digging it. It feels good to see Wiz back on his regular stuff and not being so commercial. Still, I want Chevy to carve his own lane. If you gonna do it, you gotta stand on your own two. Meanwhile, bump this smooth flying mixtape courtesy of……well, you know. Ha!

Wiz Khalifa featuring Chevy Woods – Taylor Gang

For those who’ve been rocking with Wiz pre Black & Yellow fame, it’s no secret that this young man has definitely put in work through the years and deserves to be where he’s at right now. Above we’re given the video for one of my favorite tracks off Rolling Papers directed by Bill Palladino and featuring Chevy Woods. The video contains footage of Wiz while he was on his world tour. Yes, world tour.

Chris Brown – Yoko feat. Berner, Wiz Khalifa, and Big Krit

This is a Big Krit production? Sounds really clubby and such. However, this is a nice song (for what it’s worth). I can see why people don’t like Chris Brown rapping: he tends to do the run-of-the-mill thing. I can also see why people like his rhymes: he doesn’t sound ultra corny or forced. We shall see how far this goes.

Big Sean x Curren$y x Wiz Khalifa – Weed Brownies

Remember when Spitta and Wizard were best friends a couple of years ago? aka the good ole days? Now Cameron’s replaced Curren$y with…well we all know with who. I had no idea this was happening but apparently these guys are working on a project together? I think that’s awesome. Big Jerm produced this track which I think perfectly fits the relaxed flow that Wiz and Spitta have. I’m a little surprised to Sean on the track but hey, after buying Finally Famous the little big man can do no wrong in my eyes. I’ve been bumping that album for a week and a half straight. I DO IT!

Tinie Tempah feat. Wiz Khalifa – Till I’m Gone

I wonder if anyone remembers when I used to annoyingly post about Tinie Tempah a year ago. Is this the appropriate time to tell y’all I told you so? Or should I wait until he gets a little more famous. When my 12 yr old sister has his bars memorized..I say he’s made it. Up top he grabs Wizard for a track off his debut album Disc-Overy which is out now.
