Young Scolla’s a personal favorite of mine. Well, honestly he’s one of my favorite people so..I’m certainly biased when I order you to pay attention to him (i’m kidding..sort of) I probably came across his music over a year ago and was blown away by how multi-faceted he is. Not only does this Detroit MC rap but he when I heard him sing..I was blown away. He’s like a triple threat. He sings, he raps and..he’s awesome. Clearly, what more could you ask for from your future favorite artist Young Scolla.
Up top is the first official music video from his debut album, “Seconds Away”. It features the title track, produced by 808 Blake of SMKA. The Video was Shot & Directed by Richard Taylor (Rated R) of TaylorMade Video Vision and Written and Co-Directed by Scolla himself. Part of the video was shot at the infamous Stankonia Studios in Atlanta, GA (Home to Outkast and many other musicians) as well as Star Bar (Live Venue) located in Little 5 Points, Atlanta, GA. The album drops August 30th on itunes.
